Amazon’s website now allows customers to buy and resell ethernet-cable products at their favorite retailers.
The retailer’s new product listings, which are listed under “Ethernet Cables,” are part of an effort to attract more customers to its network.
Amazon says the new listings are part in a broader effort to “revolutionize the e-commerce landscape.”
The listings include ethernet plugs, ethernet converters, cables, and adapters, all for a small price.
The listings also offer a list of products with Amazon’s own brand, which is “for those looking for a great deal on a great product.”
Customers can buy and sell these items at Amazon for $3.99 per foot of ethernet, or $9.99 for the same length of cable.
“This program is an important step in helping Amazon’s growing e-retailer community to connect and reach new customers,” said Jeff Bezos, CEO of Amazon, in a statement.
“It’s also an important part of Amazon’s ongoing commitment to bringing great value to customers.”
Amazon’s announcement comes just days after Amazon announced it would add over 10,000 jobs to its workforce in China and expand its distribution network to over 100 cities across Asia and the Middle East.
