If you’ve been keeping up with Apple’s TV 3 and 4 releases over the last year or so, you’ve probably noticed a number of changes to the products.
One of the most notable changes is that the 3rd generation Apple TV now has a digital audio cable.
Previously, the 3D audio cable was the only way to connect Apple TV to a computer via HDMI and Apple TV streaming apps.
Now, a new USB-C adapter has been added to the product to allow for the use of the USB-A 3.0 port to plug in an Apple TV.
As we’ve mentioned previously, Apple’s 3D-capable 3D AV cable has been on the market for some time, but the new adapter adds to that, with support for 4K UHD video and Dolby Vision.
Apple’s new digital audio adapter will be available in the UK and Canada, and will be priced at £69.99.
